Senior Frontend Engineer Engineering

At PINTU, we are building the #1 crypto investment platform focused on new investors in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. We know that 99% of new investors are underserved because existing solutions cater to the 1% who are pros and early adopters, so we built an app that helps them learn, invest, and sell cryptocurrencies in one click.

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to elevate our mobile engineering standards. You’ll be the architect behind our core logic, the owner of our app’s observability, and a mentor to the wider team. You’ll also bridge the gap between Native and React Native to ensure our app is performant and scalable.

In this role, you will:

• Observability & Stability: Own the "health" of the mobile app. Implement detailed monitoring (logging, crash reporting, performance tracing) to proactively identify issues; reduce crash rates and improve startup times.
• Core Library Architecture: Architect and maintain the foundational logic libraries (SDKs, networking, data processing, etc.) that power our features; ensure these libraries are robust, documented, and reusable.
• Engineering Quality: Increase overall quality of frontend engineering. This includes automated testing, streamlined CI/CD pipelines, and vigorous code reviews.
• Work across the stack, expose high-performance Kotlin modules to the React Native layer.

We are open to two types of profiles for this role:

• Deep expertise in Kotlin (Android).
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Arch) and threading.
• Requirement: A willingness to learn React Native and work in a hybrid codebase.

• Deep expertise in React Native (Type Script) and its internals (New Architecture, Bridging).
• Requirement: Proven experience writing custom Native Modules in Kotlin/Java or Swift/Obj-C.

• 5+ years of mobile engineering experience.
• Experience building internal libraries, SDKs, or shared tools.
• Strong opinion on code quality, testing strategies, and mentorship.
