Sampling Merchandiser

Shrey’s launch steered in 2013, we have made great footprints in the manufacturing of International Standard Cricket Helmets, both nationally & Internationally hence mastering the technique and truism in the fineness required in the product.

We are a growth-oriented brand with a hunger for fineness and perfection. Having recently launched our Hockey collection in the UK market, we believe we have a long way to go!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate with designers, production teams, and suppliers to develop and execute garment production plans.
- Source and negotiate with vendors for materials, trims, and accessories required for garment production.
- Monitor and track production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Conduct quality inspections at various stages of production to maintain product quality standards.
- Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery of finished products to customers.
- Analyse market trends and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Maintain accurate records of production costs, inventory levels, and shipment details.
- Address any production-related issues or challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to garment production.
- Willing to travel between office and factory from time to time to keep check on the samplings and quality.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in B.F. Tech, Textile Engineering, Fashion, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Garment Merchandiser or similar role in the apparel industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, production processes, and quality control standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and garment production software.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
