We are looking for a  Specialist – Australia Taxation  with experience in preparing and reviewing Individual, Partnership, Corporate, and Trust tax returns. The candidate should also be capable of client communication, reviewing the work of junior staff, and handling the preparation of BAS and IAS statements.

Experience  - 2+ Year
Shift  - 6:30 AM-3:00 PM (5 Days Working)

Roles and responsibility:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and trust tax returns, ensuring compliance with Australian tax legislation.

• Provide strategic advice on tax planning, structuring, and compliance for both individuals and businesses.

• Assist clients during ATO audits, prepare documentation, and work on dispute resolutions.

• Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and GST returns.

• Keep up-to-date with changes in Australian tax laws and apply them in client advisory roles.

• Respond to client queries regarding tax matters, offer proactive solutions, and build long-term relationships.

• Work closely with other teams within the firm, including auditors and financial accountants, to ensure integrated service delivery.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and best practices.

Skills Required:

In-depth understanding of Australian tax laws, GST, PAYG, fringe benefits tax (FBT), income tax, and corporate tax compliance.
Strong skills in tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar), MS Excel, and accounting systems.
Ability to perform tax research and analysis, identify tax-saving opportunities, and resolve complex tax issues.
Precision and accuracy in preparing tax returns, filings, and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to handle complex tax scenarios and come up with effective solutions.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
