Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Job Purpose:
To provide support and assistance to the Accounting Department. Key
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Communicate and coordinate with clients.
- Full comprehension of the steps involved in accounting bookkeeping.
- Thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with full IFRS and IFRS for Small and Medium-sized Entities (IFRS for SMEs), and follow up on them with legal audit firms.
- Prepare and review financial budgets.
- Prepare and review financial reports of all types.
- Prepare and review financial analyses.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian tax and Zakat regulations from an accounting perspective.
- Handle modern accounting systems and software (e.g., Daftra, Qoyod, Odoo - list is not exhaustive).
- Perform any other assignments or duties related to the job as directed by the Department Manager or the CEO.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
. - Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
, especially Excel
; accounting software;
ERP systems
; and Outlook/Gmail
. - Minimum of 7 years as an Accountant or Accounting Officer.
- Minimum of 4 years in audit firms or financial, accounting, tax, and Zakat consulting offices.
- Possession of organizational skills, time management, structure, and accuracy/attention to detail.
- Previous work experience in a GCC country (Not Mandatory).
- The candidate's age must not exceed 45 years
, and preferably should be under 40 years
