Position: Health and Safety Engineer |

Leverage your abilities and join the dynamic team of a leading Saudi company providing engineering, maintenance, and facility services across different industries in Saudi Arabia, Jeddah.

As a Health and Safety Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment by applying health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols within industrial service operations.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

  • Monitor and enforce occupational health and safety standards across all operational areas.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Implement and oversee fire safety systems and emergency response plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and codes.
  • Utilize PF technology to assess and ensure the effectiveness of personal protective equipment.
  • Develop safety training programs and conduct workshops for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and provide corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate FLS (Fire Life Safety) systems into facility designs.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, safety drills, and regulatory compliance reports.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve safety policies to align with best practices and technological advancements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or Fire Fighting Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial or engineering environments.

  • Strong background in PF (Personal Fall) technology and its applications in safety operations.

  • Proven experience in Fire Fighting Engineering systems and emergency response planning.

  • Solid understanding of FLS (Fire Life Safety) standards and implementation.

  • Familiarity with local and international HSE laws and regulations.

  • Proficient in conducting risk assessments, audits, and investigations.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills for safety training and coordination.

  • Ability to work in high-risk environments and manage multiple safety priorities.

  • Certification in occupational safety (such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is a plus.
