Purpose of the job
Design, develop, maintain and test the software programs & workflows related to HR function as part of the scope of the project/ program in order to ensure that the solution meets all the requirements as per the scope that it meets business needs.
Key Accountabilities Development- Design, develop and test software programs for various HR departments to support the business processes as per the scope of the project/program.
- Utilize standard and pre-established tools, techniques and standards including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, CSS, Java Script and C#/VB.
- Ensure that the latest technology trends are applied during the software development, aligned as per the approved IT policies & procedures for SADAFCO.
- Investigate software errors on priority basis, fix them and document them for future reference and to avoid repetition of software errors.
- Maintain an incident logbook and review the same with the line manager on periodical basis.
- Give recommendations and propose action plan(s) for permanent solutions.
- Perform testing of the developed program within the development environment as per the testing protocols.
- Align with line manager regarding the testing outcomes before deployment to production environment.
- Ensure minimum service downtime due to software upgrade.
- Provide support to all end users and explain the right procedures for using developed applications/workflows to assure that all transactions affecting payroll and employees’ profile are correctly processed and registered in HRMIS.
- Ensure proper technical documentation for all relevant HR applications & workflows up to date.
- Maintain records of all enhancements and changes in software through approved development/change requests.
- Assure HRMIS is reflected and up to date in the HR Policy & Procedure Manual. Write user manuals in order to have a recorded reference for maintenance and checkups.
- Maintain and manage system changes and/or updates by working closely with internal and external developers in order to meet business needs and at the same time to ensure end users’ satisfaction.
- Create logical and innovative ICT solutions in order to have a flexible operation of HRMIS and solve problems on time by raising request to the service portal of MenaITech and follow up with MenaITech’s customer support team.
