Procurement Engineer — Luxury Hospitality (KSA)
A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for a flagship luxury hospitality development in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project procurement plans in line with master schedule and project budget.
- Prepare tender documents, RFQs, technical and commercial comparisons, and recommendation reports.
- Source, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and long‑lead items.
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, and construction teams to align procurement with site requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance, factory inspections, and material submittal approvals.
- Track procurement progress and prepare reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, FIDIC requirements, and company procedures.
- Mitigate procurement risks related to lead time, logistics, and market fluctuations.
- 10+ years total experience in procurement / construction.
- 5+ years experience on large-scale or luxury hospitality projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers and subcontractor markets.
- Experience with contracts, commercial evaluations, and negotiation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and Saudi market regulations is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English;
Arabic is an advantage.
