We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst - Business & Data Mapping (Teradata FSLDM) to join our client's team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in data analysis, business requirements gathering, and source-to-target data mapping within financial services. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and ETL teams to translate banking and financial services requirements into accurate mappings and analytics ready datasets using Teradata FSLDM.

Your work will play a critical role in enabling regulatory reporting, data governance, and enterprise data warehouse initiatives.

• Engage with business teams to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements for reporting, analytics, and regulatory use cases.
• Conduct workshops to understand banking processes and map them to relevant FSLDM subject areas.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and business glossaries.
• Perform data profiling to assess data quality, completeness, and consistency across source systems.
• Identify data gaps and propose remediation strategies.
• Analyse FSLDM structures for suitability and alignment with business needs.
• Develop comprehensive Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents integrating source systems such as BANCs, LOS, CLOS, MUREX with FSLDM entities.
• Define transformation rules, lookup logic, and business rules for ETL development.
• Ensure all mappings adhere to governance and regulatory standards.
• Leverage FSLDM logical and physical data models to represent business requirements accurately.
• Recommend extensions or customizations based on project needs.
• Support integration with analytical layers such as FSAS.
• Participate in SIT/UAT cycles by validating data outputs against business rules.
• Work with development teams for defect analysis, triage, and resolution.
• Maintain mapping inventories, data dictionaries, and lineage artifacts.
• Follow governance standards for metadata, change management, and version control

• 5-10 years of experience in data/business analysis within Banking or Financial Services.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting frameworks (Basel, BCBS 239)
• Strong understanding of Teradata FSLDM or similar financial services data models.
• Hands on experience creating STTMs and transformation rules.
• Ability to work closely with ETL teams (Informatica, Data Stage, Talend).
• Strong SQL proficiency for data extraction, validation, and profiling (Teradata/Oracle).
• Proficiency in ERwin or similar data modelling tools.
• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, Jira.
• Excellent communication, documentation, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.
