Mechanical Engineer

Fully responsible for the supervision of troubleshooting of plant mechanical equipment & machinery. Responsible for the design and manufacture of mechanical systems.

• Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Boilers, Chillers, Air Compressors, Pumps, Motor drives, Conveyors,Presses, and basic Fabrication and Machining Operations:
  Drilling,Grinding and Welding.
• Reliable & ability to work without being supervised
• Ability to work alongside others on a good teamwork spirit.
• Ability to work on job priority basis (3 Shift work) & outside normal working hours.
• Analyzes and tests the new product for performance, safety and longevity.
• Details the most efficient and inexpensive way of making the product without sacrificing quality standards.
• Uses computers to monitor the mechanical system and makes necessary ongoing adjustments.
• Timely troubleshooting of all mechanical equipment and machinery
• Elaborating and implementing a complete and preventive maintenance program covering all Plant mechanical Equipment and machinery to prevent any disruption of Production Operations.
• Work in close collaboration with Electrical Troubleshooting Section head and Utilities also with the technical Department Manager in order to keep all plant machinery and equipment in perfect operating and reliability condition.

• Good knowledge of:
  Industrial Mechanical systems
  (transmission, drives, gears, bearings, couplings, gearboxes)
• Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Boilers, Chillers, Air compressors, Pumps, Motor Drives, Conveyors, Presses, and basic Fabrication and Machining Operations:
  Drilling, Grinding and Welding.
• Fluent in English-written & Spoken Knowledge of ceramic tiles manufacturing procedures and standards

• Ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is helpful for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect equipment.
• No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common machinery and equipment.
• Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of machine mechanical problems. Able to apply statistical calculations, analysis of variance, mechanical techniques, and sampling theory as well as algebra, linear equations, and other analytics as required. Able to understand and utilize management reports and plans to conduct business.
• Knowledge of Industrial Safety and Security measures
• Knowledge of ISO system is an added value
