Forklift Operator

The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform fill orders and check the accuracy of other orders. As well, operators will be responsible to ensure the working order of their forklifts prior to use.

Future possibilities: Forklift operators can be promoted to warehouse supervisors, just as they can be trained on larger more complex machines used in the shipping industry, like cranes. To be success forklift operators must have a strong spatial awareness a dedication to workplace safety and the ability to organize and sort with detail.
