We are looking for a Line Mechanic to ensure uptime and efficient operations for Process, Filling & Packing equipment such as Can filler, Seamer, Palletizer & De-Palletizer, Case packer, Dry Mixing, Capper, Conveyors, etc. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, improvement projects, and contribute to the overall success of the factory’s operations.
The position is in a Green Field Food Factory in Saudi.
- Effectively maintain all Process, Filling & Packing equipment, conduct timely maintenance, and proactively troubleshoot to reduce unplanned stoppages.
- Develop and continuously optimize the maintenance plan, including asset classification and spare parts management.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize performance, operational cost, and/cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and Nestlé’s good practices.
- Work rotational shifts, weekends & public holidays; manage work orders and ensure technical completion on time.
- Perform risk assessments, follow SOPs, and maintain log sheets to meet legal, mandatory, safety, compliance, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with 3rd party contractors to plan and execute routine & non‑routine maintenance activities safely and timely.
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical field, preferably FMCG industry as a mechanic or similar position.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Strong knowledge of workshop basics: machining, cutting, grinding, drilling, welding.
- Experience with SAP AMM (Asset Maintenance Management).
- Participation in multi‑disciplinary teams focused on process and activity optimization.
- Work following defined KPI’s/objectives and proactively follow up on them.
- Recommended basic SHE and Food Safety training; exposure to TPM and preventive maintenance planning.
- Basic supervisory experience with technical teams (mechanical & electrical) and coordination of maintenance activities considering safety and food safety constraints.
