We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication, demonstrating expertise in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metal components and structures for various applications. Your role will involve working with different types of metals, including stainless steel, and mild steel, ensuring that all fabricated parts meet industry standards and specifications.

The successful candidate will be proficient in using various fabrication tools and equipment, including shears, brakes, and welding machines. You will also need to demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing excellent workmanship. In addition, you will be expected to collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication.

Utilize various tools and equipment to cut, bend, and assemble metal components according to project specifications.

Conduct quality control inspections on fabricated parts to ensure they meet the required standards and tolerances.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to discuss project progress and address any issues that arise during fabrication.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Train and mentor junior fabricators, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sheet metal fabrication techniques and technologies.

Assist in the estimation of material costs and labor requirements for upcoming projects.

Participate in team meetings to discuss project timelines and resource allocation.

Preferred Candidate

Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator, with a portfolio of completed projects.

Strong technical skills with the ability to operate various fabrication tools and machinery.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.

Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to metal fabrication.

Experience in welding and metal finishing techniques is a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
