Technical Co-Founder​/Founding Engineer

We are an early-stage startup working on a B2B SaaS platform focused on solving operational workforce challenges through automation and intelligent scheduling. The company is currently in the validation and MVP stage, with a clear long-term vision to scale and build a valuable, acquisition-ready business.

We are looking for a Technical Co-Founder / Founding Engineer to join at an early stage and lead the technical vision, architecture, and development of the product. You will work closely with the founder to transform validated business needs into a scalable SaaS solution.

This role is ideal for someone who wants ownership, impact, and equity, not just a job.

• Design and build the MVP and core product architecture
• Lead technical decision-making (stack, scalability, security)
• Develop backend services, APIs, and database architecture
• Build or oversee frontend implementation
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Collaborate on product roadmap and technical strategy
• Support future hiring of the technical team

• 5-10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Previous experience building SaaS products or scalable web applications
• Experience as a startup engineer, founding engineer, or tech lead is a strong plus
• Comfortable working in early-stage, ambiguous environments

• Ruby on Rails

• Experience with modern UI frameworks and state management

• Experience with relational data modeling
