Austell Pharmaceuticals is looking for a passionate Industrial Engineer to join our Engineering team in Parktown, Johannesburg. This role is designed to develop you into a Business Process Engineer, giving you hands-on exposure to projects that drive business growth and operational excellence.

• Support and manage cross-functional projects from planning to delivery
• Drive Kaizen workshops and continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyze and visualize data to support smarter decision-making
• Contribute to innovation, digital transformation, and process optimization

Education:

• Exposure or certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or Data Analytics – preferred

Experience:

• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of relevant internship/graduate program experience
• Exposure to data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar) is an advantage
• Participation in projects or process improvement initiatives during studies is beneficial

Technical & Professional Skills:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills
• Knowledge of Lean/Kaizen and continuous improvement principles
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies
• Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to BI tools preferred
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
• High level of accountability and adaptability
