Data Lead

The Data Lead is responsible for overseeing the organization's data architecture ensuring structured data management and guiding data design strategies. This role requires a strong technical foundation in data structuring governance and integration along with proven leadership experience in managing data teams. The Data Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity optimize data flows and support strategic decision-making.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management data architecture or a similar role.
• Proven experience in leading and managing data teams for 3 years.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL No
  
  SQL etc.) data modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience with data governance compliance regulations and security best practices.
• Proficiency in cloud data platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and data integration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business terms.
• Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies (Snowflake Hadoop Spark etc.).
• Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau etc.).
• Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics is a plus.
• Agile project management experience.

• Bachelors degree in data science Computer Science Information Technology.
• Honours or masters degree in data science Computer Science Information Technology or a related field would be advantageous.
