Help shape a fast-growing Out-of-Home network with data-driven precision. If you love turning complex spatial data into clear direction, this role puts you at the centre of network expansion and optimisation.

As the Locations GIS Manager, you will manage, analyse, and visualise geospatial and operational datasets to guide where and how the Out-of-Home network grows. You’ll build the GIS roadmap, champion data quality and methodology, and translate insights into decisions that unlock measurable value. Reporting to the Head of Locations, you will also oversee a Locations GIS Coordinator and produce clear, stakeholder-ready outputs that inform acquisition, operations, and service design.

Our client is a market-leading national courier company. The Locations function operates as a dedicated division focused on growing and optimising the Out-of-Home network across the country, partnering closely with operational, product, and leadership teams to enable scale and service excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse large, multi-source datasets to derive actionable insights for location acquisition and optimisation
• Lead spatial analyses that inform network growth initiatives and solution services
• Build and maintain a pipeline of GIS initiatives aligned to business objectives and value targets
• Establish and uphold data quality assurance and control processes; document methodologies and metadata
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations (ArcGIS) to communicate methods, results, and recommendations
• Design and manage spatial databases and associated data flows; contribute to Web GIS deployments
• Manage and mentor the Locations GIS Coordinator and collaborate across steering and governance forums

What You Bring

• Degree in GIS or related field; MSc advantageous
• 3+ years’ commercial experience in a similar GIS role with demonstrable project delivery
• High proficiency across the ESRI ArcGIS suite (ArcGIS Pro, Model Builder, Web GIS, Survey
  123, Field Maps)
• Strong Python scripting and SQL skills; solid grasp of spatial data structures and ESRI geodatabases
• Ability to produce clear written outputs and stakeholder-friendly dashboards; predictive modelling exposure is a plus
