Senior SAP BTP Developer

Johannesburg, South Africa (Hybrid – 3 days onsite: Mondays and Fridays mandatory)

Contract position until 30 June

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BTP Developer to design, develop, and deploy innovative SAP Business Technology Platform solutions.

You will collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing applications within the SAP ecosystem.

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP BTP services (CAP, Workflow, Business Rules, API Management, Integration Suite).
• Build scalable, secure solutions leveraging BTP development frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
• Ensure performance optimization, logging, and error handling across BTP applications.
• Maintain technical documentation and support testing cycles (unit, E2 E, regression).

• Strong proficiency in SAP BTP development technologies (CAP, Node.js, Java, OData, CDS).
• Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model and multi-target applications.
• Familiarity with integration concepts (CPI, APIs) is advantageous.
• Agile delivery experience and excellent problem-solving skills.

• 8+ years in SAP development, with at least 3 years on BTP.
• Results-driven SAP BTP expert capable of taking on new challenges in a dynamic environment.
