Data Production & Quality - TV Audience Measurement
The Data Production & Quality Specialist is responsible for executing data processing workflows and ensuring the highest standards of data quality for South Africa’s official TV audience measurement currency. This role focuses on ETL processes, anomaly detection, validation, and compliance with BRC standards and POPIA regulations, supporting timely and accurate delivery of audience data.
Key Responsibilities- Data Processing:
Execute daily ETL workflows for panel, RPD, ACR, and streaming data sources; ensure T+1/T+28 delivery. - Quality Assurance:
Perform multi-layer QA checks, including schema validation, trend analysis, and anomaly detection. - Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies; elevate complex issues to Lead Data Production. - Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure adherence to POPIA and internal GfK guidelines; maintain accurate documentation for audits. - Collaboration:
Work closely with Operations and Methodology teams to implement process improvements and support methodological changes.
3–5 years in data operations or quality assurance; experience in audience measurement or media analytics preferred. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data validation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with South African TV ecosystem, client governance, and POPIA compliance. Experience with cloud platforms and ETL tools is a plus.

Success MetricsOn‑time data delivery (T+1/T+28); QA pass rates; reduction in post‑release corrections; compliance with BRC and POPIA standards.
