Senior Oracle Developer; PL​/SQL​/APEX

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Developer with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance Oracle database applications. This role demands a deep understanding of backend database development and hands-on experience building secure, user-friendly applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).

Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle database applications using PL/SQL and Oracle APEX

Develop complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and packages

Optimize and tune existing database processes for performance and scalability

Collaborate with front-end developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Maintain and enhance existing Oracle APEX applications

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers

Ensure application security, data integrity, and high availability

Document development work and provide support during testing and deployment

8+ years of professional experience in Oracle database development

Expert in PL/SQL writing efficient, maintainable, and secure code

Strong experience in developing and maintaining Oracle APEX applications (version 20.x or higher preferred)

Solid understanding of relational database design, performance tuning, and optimization techniques

Experience integrating APEX with external systems via RESTful services or APIs

Knowledge of Oracle tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar

Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and version control systems (e.g., Git)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI) environments

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Oracle applications

Previous experience in a senior or team lead capacity
