Senior Salesforce Developer

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Senior Salesforce Developer located in the Cape Town Metropolitan Area. The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce‑based solutions to meet business requirements. Key responsibilities include analyzing system requirements, configuring and customizing Salesforce applications, integrating third‑party systems, and creating and maintaining technical documentation. The developer will also troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

• Expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
• Experience in Salesforce administration, system configuration, and workflows
• Proficiency in API integration and familiarity with Web Services, REST, and SOAP APIs
• Strong knowledge of database and data modeling concepts, including SQL and SOQL
• Experience with software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Agile, Git)
• Effective problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with different teams
• Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Application Architect are highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
