This Position reports to :

Workshop / Internal Logistics Manager

In this role you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local import / export operations. Each day you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.

• Acting as point of contact for customs brokers incase of clarification needs (e.g. regarding evaluation or classification of products).
• Audit customs brokers regarding the correctnessof customs entries invoicing
• Managing the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient cost-effective and lawful execution of all import / export activities.
• Maintaining and sharing with colleagues as appropriate personal knowledge of all relevant import / export laws and procedures tariffs duties licenses and restrictions.
• Uses various transportation software systems to facilitate material movement planning and scheduling. Customs and trade applications.
• Prepares and updates monthly logistics schedule toensure deliveries to customer locations and coordinates product delivery schedule with project / sales team.
• Coordinates daily to track location and movement of finished goods and raw materials via all transport modes re-routes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize cost.
• Works closely with transport service providers andbrokers to assure efficient cost-effective execution of business requirements obtaining necessary transport permitsand codes prepares transportation paperwork for import and export.
• Fulfils shipping packing and advises on markingprocedures per project requirements in compliance with governmental regulations.
• Data management Supports the development and implementation of improved processes and systems and maintains master data when required.

• Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Transport or Logistics management
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Familiar with working on SAP & BOL
• Strong knowledge of transport planning and order handling process.
• Must be a team player customer oriented and an ability to perform under pressure
• Solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Microsoft office experience essential for role
