Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled  US Property Accountant  to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in  Sage Intacct  and  Yardi Voyager , particularly in managing accounting processes and ensuring financial accuracy for U.S.

-based clients. You should possess a solid understanding of  U.S. GAAP  and have hands-on experience with lease accounting, CAM reconciliation, and other relevant accounting practices. As a key member of a small, tight-knit team, you will be working closely with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting while supporting operational efficiencies.

Note:

Experience on both Sage Intacct and Yardi is required

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience  in accounting, with a strong background in  Sage Intacct  and  Yardi .
Proven experience working with  U.S.

-based clients , with a deep understanding of  U.S. GAAP  and its application to accounting processes.
In-depth understanding  of accounting principles, including  lease accounting (ASC 842) ,  CAM reconciliation , and other U.S. GAAP standards.
Proven experience in  bookkeeping ,  month-end/quarter-end close processes , and  preparing financial statements .
Strong ability to  manage multiple clients  and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to ensure  data accuracy  in all tasks.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes, software, and technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Team Interaction:
Serve as a key member  of a small advisory group, providing expert guidance and accounting solutions.
Collaborate closely  with pod members, internal teams, and clients to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Communicate directly with clients  (primarily U.S.

-based) to address queries, provide updates, and ensure smooth project execution.
Foster strong client relationships , particularly focusing on clients utilizing Sage Intacct and Yardi for their accounting processes.

Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Manage recurring bookkeeping tasks  for multiple clients, ensuring consistent and accurate financial reporting.
Perform  monthly and quarter-end close processes , ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled properly.
Prepare quarterly financial statements  (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) within a 60-day window from the end of the quarter, adhering to  U.S. GAAP  standards.
Reconcile accounts  on a monthly basis, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and balanced.
Review transactions and processes , identifying discrepancies and ensuring financial records comply with  U.S. GAAP .
Oversee the CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliation process  for clients, ensuring proper allocation and accurate billing for shared expenses.
Review and manage lease agreements , ensuring accurate recording and reporting of lease liabilities, assets, and related expenses in line with  U.S. GAAP (ASC 842) .

Process & Technology:
Leverage Sage Intacct and Yardi  to perform client accounting tasks, ensuring seamless integration of accounting and financial reporting.
Adapt quickly to evolving accounting processes  and technology systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
Contribute to process improvement  initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions to enhance overall team effectiveness.
Assist in the implementation  of new systems, processes, or software to improve efficiency and accuracy in client deliverables.

Additional Responsibilities:
Provide  training and support  to junior staff or clients in the use of accounting software (Sage Intacct , Yardi) and industry best practices.
Stay updated on  U.S. GAAP  regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance in all accounting activities.
Collaborate with team members  on cross-functional projects, ensuring clear communication and high-quality output.
