• The student is a9th grader attending Phoenix High School. He will need a tutor for English and executive functioning. He scored below expectations in both English and Geometry (already has a tutor for that!) indicating that he is behind. His main challenges involve executive functioning, particularly organization, task prioritization, task initiation, and self-monitoring. These difficulties makeit harder for him to work independently and efficiently.
  
  Although he feels he understands the material in both subjects, he will need an initial review ofkey terminology and concepts to address any gaps. Moving forward, he will need weekly review, assignment support, and help preparing for tests in both subjects.
• The goal is for the student to become more confident and independent while staying organized and keeping up with his work.
• The family wants1 hour sessions2 times a week between 5:30pm-8pm on Monday and Tuesday.
• The family wants to meet in-person with the tutor at their home in Kalamazoo near the Heritage Christian Academy and next to the Forest View on 11th apartments.

• You have experience teaching/tutoring.
• You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
• Due to insurance requirements, applicant must not be a minor.
• Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions2 times a week between 5:30pm-8pm on Monday and Tuesday.

• You have a teaching certification.
• $25-$30 per hour
