YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Superintendent, the Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of electrical and instrumentation trades people in a safety focused Kraft Pulp Mill. The role will be of interest to effective leaders who are dynamic, resourceful, self-starters and demonstrate a commitment to safety.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
üRepair, maintenance, calibration and verification of complex distribution equipment including hydro tie line transformers, electrical generation distribution and controls for three turbo generators;
üOversee electric motor shop activities, PM of Protective relays, high voltage switchgear, oil sampling, IR-scanning analysis as well as PdMa (motor signature) analysis;
üProvide technical direction and supervision of Electricians and Instrumentation Mechanics as it applies to Variable Speed AC drive systems, MCC’s, DCS control systems and related equipment.
üSupport the educate on aspects of preventive/predictive maintenance systems;
Co-ordinate Arc Flash program and its written or verbal specifications. Oversee integrity and accuracy of databases.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
üPossess an Interprovincial Red Seal Certification in Electrical or Instrumentation;
üPrevious experience supervising trades in a safety focused, industrial work environment;
üProficient in maintenance systems development, implementation and use;
üExperience with PLC’s and related equipment, i.e. GE 90-30 and RX3i systems
üExperience with Distributed Control Systems i.e. Provox/DeltaV
üProficient with computers including experience in working with a computerized maintenance management system (SAP);
üPrevious experience planning and scheduling within a multi trade work environment is considered an asset;
ü A dual ticket or experience in Electrical and Instrumentation would be an asset.
