Assistant Manager (Geotechnical & Materials)

Join the EXP team as an Assistant Manager (Geotechnical & Materials). You will operate in a collaborative setting that blends fieldwork, business development, and office responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Manage projects from start to finish, overseeing technical and logistical aspects.
- Conduct fieldwork and maintain face‑to‑face client interactions.
- Support business development activities, building and maintaining a client portfolio.
- Lead and mentor junior staff as a motivated seller/doer with leadership aspirations.
- Registered Professional Engineer with EGBC (P. Eng).
- 8–10 years of experience in mid‑rise, commercial, subdivision, and municipal/highway projects.
- Practical approach to project execution and management.
- Solid understanding of materials testing.
- Experience with shoring systems for parkades or geohazard mitigation in wildfire zones is an asset.
- Enjoy fieldwork and client interactions.
The salary range for this role is between $120,000–150,000
.
