Occupational Therapist (virtual-hybrid)

Rate Compensation: $43.00 - $52.00 per hour (based on experience; option to work under a variable pay model including Fee for Service is available))

Qualifications:

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists in British Columbia.
  • Solid experience in assessing and treating adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions.
  • Experience in Occupational and Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset.
  • Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
  • Excellent oral, written and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and new technology.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Newly licensed Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • A diverse caseload with assessment and treatment of clients funded by WSBC and other 3rd party funders with complex musculoskeletal and mental health challenges.
  • Assessing the client’s physical and/or cognitive functioning within the clinic setting. Typical assessments include job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, cognitive abilities evaluations, ergonomic, attendant care, and pre-employment assessments.
  • Flexibility to work in person or virtually, with the ability to structure your schedule to meet your needs and the needs of your clientele.
