Paralegal - Insurance Law Firm

Full time Paralegal position - offered in Vancouver or Kamloops (please specify on application). No remote work, in office position.

• Drafting, formatting, filing and coordinating service of court documents
• Preparing lists of documents
• Review of medical, employment, and other relevant documents pertaining to the files
• Drafting medical chronologies
• Drafting preliminary quantum assessments
• Communication with opposing counsel for document request and other required requests
• Legal Research of case law, records, court files, and all applicable legal documents
• Trial Preparation

The ideal candidate:

• Certified Paralegal with 2 to 3 years’ experience in civil litigation
• Experience in Insurance Defence Work
• Experience with the BC Court Filing Processes
