We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Heffley Creek division
, located in Kamloops, British Columbia
. The Production Supervisor is accountable for providing direction and leadership to a production crew of to employees and is accountable for scheduling, organizing and safely achieving targeted production levels of quality veneer or plywood. This position involves shift work and may include weekends.
With approximately employees, Heffley Creek Division produces plywood and veneer products, safely and sustainably while producing approximately million square feet of plywood and million square feet of veneer per year, for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

In this role you will:

Supervise and lead a team of production personnel, crews of approximately - people. Ensure they deliver quality production activities in a safe and proactive manner. This involves providing direction, setting expectations, and ensuring effective communication among team members.

Ensure that all production targets and schedules are met as forecasted. Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Meeting production targets is crucial. You’ll need to monitor production schedules, track progress, and make adjustments as needed to achieve production goals efficiently.

Coordinating various production activities is essential. This includes overseeing production processes, scheduling shifts, and ensuring smooth workflow across different departments.

As a supervisor, you’ll be involved in hiring, training, and developing production staff. This includes conducting performance evaluations, identifying training needs, and fostering employee growth.

Be prepared to work in a variety of temperatures, as the role involves mostly indoor work but may also require exposure to external temperatures.
