Base pay range: CA $30.49/hr – CA $34.73/hr

As a Transit Bus Operator, you will be responsible for transporting passengers on public transit vehicles while ensuring their safety and comfort.

• Enjoy interacting with the public.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanour.
• Drive various coach/buses or company non‑revenue vehicles safely, courteously, and reliably within the assigned service area and schedule.
• Maintain the appearance of the bus.
• Perform pre‑/post‑trip vehicle inspections as required.
• Report delays, mechanical issues, or accidents promptly.
• Complete and submit written reports regarding passengers, incidents, and accidents.
• Operate on‑board computer fare boxes and destination signs.
• Uphold a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and clear communication.
• Perform all other duties assigned.

• Class 2 BC Driver's license with air‑brake endorsement.
• Minimum of two years of driving experience.
• Clean driver's abstract.
• Clean drug and alcohol test.

• Casual unionized position in Kamloops.
• Transit environment: early, split & late shifts may be required.
