Maintenance Officer

Job Description:

To maintain the production machinery ( ATFL assets ) at the factories to ensure smooth and error free operation and production of ATFL products.

To establish ATFL standards of operation at units as per HACCP norms

To trainthe operators (JPAs) to take independent charge and run operations

To execute the erection & commissioning of machineries at Factories as required by business
PRINCIPAL

ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Maintenance of machinery
- Planning of preventive maintenance
Training operators for production associates
Ensuring regular supply of Spares for machinery through interaction with Purchase
Interaction with Machine suppliers to ensure upkeep of machines
Complaint handling of machine breakdown, both onsite and over the phone
Rated production from Machines
Completion of monthly targets
Reduction in machinery downtime
R&M (Repair and Maintenance) expenses within agreed budget.
Installation of new machinery
Execute installation and commissioning of new machineries.
Upgradation of existing machinery
Standard at units as per SQF
Establish ATFL operating standards at units as per SQF requirements
Educate staff on SQF standards and their application
Assist RQI in drafting maintenance manual with unit particulars
Product / Process development
Assist RQI in new Product & process development
Machine capability trial
Responsible for increasing the efficiency of plants by using new processes and machines in order to reduce the cost per unit
Implement the execution of the project as advised by the Management to bring down the cost per unit
Educational

Qualifications:

Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical to understand the production machinery
Functional

Skills:

Technical skill
Flexibility with multi –skilling to handle maintenance & operation if required
Interpersonal skills to interact with people of various types, external & internal
Seeking support from management
Good communication skills to negotiate wit external vendors/ machine or spare parts suppliers
