Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD design software, such as Solid Works, Inventor, and AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication methods, and engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with BOM structures and exposure to an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of relevant mechanical and building codes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 25 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in a manufacturing or product-development environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in conducting feasibility studies and design reviews.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive technical reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for root-cause investigations.
  • Capability to maintain accurate documentation and revision histories.
