Experienced Concrete Laborer

Pay: $21–$32 per hour, based on experience

R. Thimesch Construction is hiring Experienced Concrete Laborers to join our construction team in Spivey, Kansas. We're looking for dependable, skilled individuals with previous hands-on concrete experience who can contribute to our projects from day one.

This is NOT an entry-level position. Previous hands-on concrete experience is REQUIRED. General construction experience without concrete experience does not meet our qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete forming, pouring, placement, spreading, and finishing.
• Set and prepare concrete forms for residential, commercial, and civil construction projects.
• Operate concrete tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
• Read and follow basic construction drawings, layouts, and supervisor instructions.
• Work alongside the crew to complete projects safely and on schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience working with concrete is REQUIRED.
• Demonstrated experience with concrete forming, pouring, placement, or finishing.
• Knowledge of concrete tools, materials, and jobsite safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor construction work.
• Dependable work ethic and ability to work effectively with a crew.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating skid loaders, power trowels, and concrete finishing equipment.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, commercial concrete, or concrete paving projects.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and construction drawings.

Pay & Benefits
