What You’ll Do
- Manage project billings, contract reviews, and billing setup to capture all recoverable costs
- Prepare and review monthly billings with Project Managers and respond to client inquiries
- Perform billing audits, job cost adjustments, and variance analysis
- Monitor receivables, lien timelines, prompt payment requirements, and pay-when-paid terms
- Oversee subcontractor invoicing, payment controls, and compliance documentation
- Partner with Accounts Payable on cost processing, accruals, and payment files
- Support forecasting, reporting, and project status reviews
- Act as a subject matter expert on complex IPD and CM projects and mentor team members
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and being deeply embedded in the success of construction projects.
QualificationsQualifications and Education Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting
- 4 year university degree in Business/Finance in progress or completed is an asset
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset
- Computer literate, with effective working skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Able to adapt to and to learn software (i.e. Viewpoint).
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team and/or independently.
- Good organizational skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
