Join our expanding team – work with intelligent, efficient, rational, friendly, and like-minded professionals! Europro Autohaus specializes in German and Volvo repairs, while Valley Pro Autohouse focuses on Asian and Domestic vehicles. As Kelowna's largest independent repair shop, we are seeking an advanced technician who thrives on both diagnostics and repair work. $37+ (based on experience), extended medical/dental, and the option of a 4 day work week.

Hourly pay with efficiency bonuses offered.

The Purpose & Objective of this position:

The Technician role is a very important role at the company as it completes the repairs and services that the sales team sells. In addition to actually producing the work sold on customer vehicles, this role also performs the vital task of inspecting vehicles to find repairs and services that are needed on a customer's vehicles which the sales team will sell to customers.

Europro Autohaus Ltd. and Valley Pro Autohouse are specialty repair centers dedicated to providing expert automotive service. Since 2005, Europro Autohaus has specialized in the maintenance, repair, and performance tuning of European vehicles, including Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Mini Cooper. Our factory-trained technicians offer fast, high-quality auto repair, tire services, Provincial Inspections, and fleet services. Valley Pro Autohouse focuses on Asian and Domestic vehicles, offering the same level of expertise for brands like Chevy, Ford, Dodge, and Sprinter vans.

In addition to routine maintenance and repairs, we also specialize in EV and Tesla services, ensuring comprehensive automotive care for all our clients.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Diagnostic Work:
    Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics using specialized tools, including scan tools, oscilloscopes, wiring diagrams, borescopes, and chassis ears.
  • Repair Documentation:
    Record complaint, cause, and correction details in repair orders (ROs) and prepare accurate parts lists for the Service Advisor/or Parts Specialist.
  • Billed

    Hours:

    Meet and exceed an average of 40 billed hours per week.
  • Technical Resources:
    Utilize online repair manuals such as Alldata, Pro Demand, and Identifix to support accurate diagnostics and repairs. Knowledge of diagnostic flow charts.
  • Shop Systems:
    Use Protractor Shop Management and Auto Flow for digital inspections and workflow efficiency (experience is an asset).
  • Time Tracking:
    Clock in and out of ROs via timeclock or online system to ensure accurate job tracking.
  • Communication:
    Maintain clear and professional communication with the Service Advisors, Parts Specialists, Shop Team, and customers to ensure smooth service operations.

Education:

Compensation:

$37+ (based on experience) with efficiency bonuses offered. Competitive salary, and room for wage advancement. Benefits include bonus pay structure, extended medical and dental, 3 weeks holidays (after one year), RRSP Matching (after 6 months) and 5 paid sick days.
