Family Physician - Private Clinic

Our medical clinic is looking for a new practice share associate to join their well-established two doctor Family Medical Practice. The clinic operates out of a heritage home in downtown Kelowna and provides longitudinal care to patients. There is no after hours work apart from providing care to patients in long-term care facilities, Hospice House and patient calls through an on-call group of MDs.

This clinic is not a walk-in clinic.

This position is essentially a practice share with one of the doctors who would like to ease out of full time Family Practice gradually.

The ideal candidate would prefer to work 50% of the time at our clinic and have the remaining time off or choose to work in the many other diverse medical opportunities available in Kelowna. An interest in addiction medicine, especially managing a group of opioid dependent patients, would be preferable but not essential. Training and mentorship in this field is also available.

Kelowna is a great place to live, work and play with all the modern conveniences of a moderate size city. The recreational opportunities in Kelowna are exceptional all year round.
