Our Kelowna Branch is looking for a Commercial Estimator who will help ECCO Supply grow our existing sales of mechanical equipment, grilles and other related product to our Bid & Spec customer base. The successful incumbant will accurately and efficiently take-off plans, itemize products and equipment in preparation for quoting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Duties:
Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO’s customers so they will want to do repeat business with ECCO ManufacturingMaintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employeesRead and comply with ECCO’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and ProceduresAssist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions and by setting a good example, also by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work.Commercial Estimator:
Complete engineered drawing take-offs of commercial grilles/registers/diffusers (GRD) & mechanical equipmentAssemble accurate and timely tenders including quantities and sell prices for the commercial GRD & mechanical equipmentProject management once successful job tenders have been awardedOrdering project material and equipment as requiredFollow up and tracking of shipments, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries as per client specificationsEnsure invoices are processed on a regular basis with correct and accurate pricingIdentify and solicit potential clientsAssist and share in customer sales and technical calls requiring assistancePromote and secure business from all aspects of the HVAC industryEnsure all customers are treated in a professional manner and attend to queries, disputes, etc. promptlyProvide timely feedback to supervisor regarding performanceProvide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all quotes submitted to clients, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin and market shareMaintain accurate record of all project tender quotations and activity reports submittedControl expenses to meet budget guidelinesParticipate in annual inventory countAssist in trade shows offered by ECCO Supply, suppliers and / or customersParticipate in industry related associations, i.e., monthly meetingsWork closely under the supervision or more senior ECCO estimators who will provide mentoring and coachingOther duties as deemed necessary by management
