We have opportunities for an eight month term from May to December 2026. We are looking for energetic, and versatile individuals to join our Wastewater team. You will assist in daily activities at the Wastewater Treatment Plant which will include providing assistance to the lab, helping out operations and maintenance staff with yard maintenance, cleaning and general maintenance.

Duties - Union Results and Activities - Non union Credentials - Union The 8 month Co-op positions run from May through December
. Eligible candidates will be enrolled in and returning to school full-time in the subsequent academic year and have strong communication, teamwork, customer service, and problem-solving skills. International students must be attending school full time, possess a valid study permit and may require a valid co-op work permit when applying for a co-op position. Please note that international students can only participate in co-op work terms for up to 50% of their total program of study (example: a 2 year diploma program is limited to two co-op work terms).
  • Completion of 1st year in a Water Engineering Technology Diploma program or related program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organization skills
  • Previous experience working in a Water Facility would be considered an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Valid BC Driver’s License

    You must be attending school, college or university during the last school term and returning to your studies in the subsequent academic year. VERIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED. Enrolment in a formal co-op program is not required.

    A current Drivers Abstract is required.

    International students must be attending school full time, possess a valid study permit and may require a valid co-op work permit when applying for a co-op position.     Pay Rate $25.22 to $27.16 per hour plus 14% in lieu of benefits, vacation and statutory holidays.
