- Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
- Computer-aided design (CAD)
- Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications
- Prepare standards and schedules
- Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects
- Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts
- Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions
- Interpret electrical code specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations Supervision
- Electrical mechanics Computer and technology knowledge
- Mastercam CAD/CAM
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Visio Equipment and machinery experience
- HVAC
- Electronic controls Equipment, eystems and controls experience
- Building system Inspection or testing specialization
- Electrical assemblies or wiring

- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system
