Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $22 per hour, working 35 hours per week.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an R&D Office and Electrospinning Lab Assistant to support our research and development activities. This role involves assisting in electrospinning lab operations, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow within the R&D office. The ideal candidate will receive training to work with electrospinning units and contribute to scientific research and process development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in operating and maintaining electrospinning equipment in the lab.
  • Support R&D projects by preparing materials, setting up experiments, and documenting results.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and efficient laboratory practices.
  • Monitor process parameters such as voltage, temperature, and solution flow rates.
  • Maintain accurate records of lab activities, experimental observations, and data.
  • Help with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab instruments.
  • Assist in ordering lab supplies, managing inventory, and organizing the workspace.
  • Support the R&D team with administrative tasks, data entry, and report preparation.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
  • Experience in a lab environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
  • Basic understanding of chemical handling and lab safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a research setting.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills to support office tasks.
  • Comfortable working with technical equipment and troubleshooting minor issues.
