Building Maintenance, Maintenance Worker
We are seeking a full‑time Estates Operative to join the Estates Department at Crackley Hall. The role will support the Site Supervisor in maintaining a clean, safe and well‑maintained site for staff, students, visitors and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will be available from January 2026 (or shortly thereafter) and will work Monday–Friday, 10.30 am to 7.00 pm (one hour unpaid break per day).
Flexibility for additional work during key events and the opportunity to earn overtime are encouraged.
- Assist the Site Supervisor in performing caretaker‑type duties across the estate.
- Maintain the site’s appearance, cleanliness, order and security.
- Support additional work during key events, including overtime or time‑in‑lieu.
- Ensure the premises remain in a fully functioning condition for all users.
- Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
- Annual leave: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays (not including Christmas–New Year closure).
- Salary: D5 of the Princethorpe Foundation support staff scale (£25,106.25 per annum).
- Foundation sites closed between Christmas and New Year — no work required during that period.
- Willingness to undergo child protection screening (past employer checks and Disclosure and Barring Service).
