• General Surgery Position Available:

  Permanent full-time (+ ongoing locum opportunities)
• On Call: 1 in 2

• Bread and butter general surgery and endoscopy are essential – advanced skills in MIS and/or C-sections are welcome

• Remuneration:
  Competitive regional APP + hospital on-call coverage (HOCC) + over $150,00 in signing bonuses!

• Existing Staff: 1 FT General Surgeon, 2 FT GP/A’s, 1 GP with +OSS that provides C-section service. Collegial team of rural generalist GP’s that support other hospital service and local primary care.

DRHC is a 42-bed rural health centre in Northwestern Ontario, including a 3-bed CCU, 24/7 Emergency Department, and 2 modern OR theatres with 1 fully integrated MIS suite. We have a regionally-integrated EMR, on-site diagnostic imaging (CT, ultrasound, x-ray), laboratory services, and nearby pathology (Kenora).
