Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £14.40 Per Hour

Job

Job Responsibilities

Support procurement team in all procurement tasks.

Help with tender and quotation processes.

Prepare documents, correspondence, and reports.

Maintain the Council’s Tendering System and Approved Contractor List.

Communicate with contractors and service providers.

Handle inquiries from clients and contractors.

Assist in tender assessment and documentation.

Input data into the Council’s financial system.

Occasionally assist Head of Procurement.

Use Council systems and procedures efficiently.

Person Specifications

Must Have

Good education level.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).

Office or administrative experience.

Ability to work independently.

Good communication skills.

Ability to adapt to change.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of public sector procurement rules.

Experience with local government procurement processes.
