About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new warehouse facility. This is a freelance role suited to a highly organised leader with a strong background in industrial or logistics-sector builds. You will take full responsibility for site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across all phases of the warehouse build

• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel

• Ensure all works meet programme timelines, quality expectations, and budget requirements

• Oversee site health & safety, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce compliance

• Monitor progress, report regularly to the Project/Contracts Manager, and maintain all site documentation

• Resolve technical or operational issues promptly and effectively

• Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, and inspectors as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on warehouse, industrial, or steel-frame projects

• Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification

• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain a well-organised site

• Competent with reporting tools, site documentation, and quality control processes
