About

The Role

Our Supported Living Services support adults of all ages with autism spectrum conditions and other learning disabilities or related complex support needs. As a Support Worker in our Supported Living Homes, you will work as part of a strong and dedicated team, playing a big role in the support we give those that live there throughout their day to day lives.

We are currently recruiting for our Supported Living and Outreach services (SLOR). Honeysuckles (High Brooms).

Honeysuckles is a service for females only with autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

It is a 4 bed house. It has a large communal area to sit and relax in, with a space for dining. There are two kitchen areas, a shared toilet on the ground floor and a shared bathroom with shower on the first floor at the top of the stairs. There is a garage to store minimal items if needed. The are no night staff.

We are looking for full-time flexible Support Workers to assist with covering days - can be discussed xibility to work every other weekend will also be required for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting service users with administration of medication
  • Supporting with personal care needs and nutritional needs
  • To support with making and attending medical appointments, ensuring accurate comprehensive records are kept.
  • Supporting food shopping and individual’s personal shopping needs
  • Supporting with laundry duties and cooking and cleaning
  • Supporting with finances and other administrative tasks
