Land Manager

Housing developer based in Kent urgently requires a Senior Land Manager to join the team.

Salary: c £80,000 plus package

The role involves managing land acquisitions across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and Essex, primarily focusing on build-now sites, with strategic sites that can be developed within 5–7 years.

This position is ideal for someone with extensive contacts in these areas, capable of proactively creating deals for land acquisition.

Acquisitions should be between 50–150 units and can be purchased with or without planning consent, as the house builder is well-funded and can finance deals. The company also considers sites with existing consent, provided there is value in building or potential to optimize planning permissions.

The responsibilities include originating and identifying deals, appraising sites, securing planning permissions, and handing over projects to the construction team for development.

The role requires good 'off-market' contacts with landowners and funding sources, as the company prefers to avoid agency channels to maintain strong margins.

This is a secure position with an expectation to acquire up to three sites annually in the specified regions, offering a good work-life balance for those seeking stability and deal completion.
