Registered Manager – Ofsted Regulated Service

Salary:
Up to £60,000 ( Dependant on experience)

Are you an experienced leader passionate about delivering exceptional care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)? We are working with a nationwide care group specialising in supporting children and young people in the community and are looking for a Registered Manager to establish and lead a new Ofsted-regulated service, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a fully compliant Ofsted-registered children’s home, promoting a culture of high performance and person-centred care.
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and quality standards are met at all times.
Inspire, coach, and develop a skilled workforce, fostering staff engagement and professional growth.
Manage financial viability, business development, and service marketing to drive success.
Maintain excellent communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Participate in the managers’ out-of-hours on-call rota.
Continuously promote innovation and improvement, aiming for ‘Good’ or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.

About You
Ofsted registration or ability to register as a manager for a new service.
At least 2 years’ experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years.
At least 1 year managing or supervising staff in a care setting.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Integrity, resilience, and professionalism with a passion for excellent childcare.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Commercial awareness and financial management experience.
