Dream Medical are working with a small but thriving GP surgery in Iwade and are looking for a Practice Nurse to join their friendly multi-disciplinary team on a locum basis. The practice are flexible with session days and times and are able to work around the right candidate's availability. You will have a Diabetes qualification as the role is mainly to complete Diabetic checks and Chronic Disease management.

You will be a proficient user of System one with your own Smart Card. General treatment room skill sets are essential:
Cytology, baby immunisations, EGCs, Venepuncture, Wounds & Dressings, Ear Irrigation and BP Checks. This role offers a lucrative rate of pay that is paid on a weekly basis as well as a one-to-one consultancy.

Requirements:

• Diabetes qualification and experience
• System one user
• Smart Card
• Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year

LOCUM PRACTICE NURSE – BIRMINGHAM

Practice Nurse
Birmingham
20-25 hours /Permanent

We are looking for an excellent Practice nurse for a part time position within a small but thriving GP surgery. The days and session times are flexible for the right candidate and the salary is negotiable. This post is due to commence in April and no weekend work is required.

You must be trained and up to date in Cervical Cytology and Baby immunisations;
Smoking Cessation and Chronic disease management are desirable for this role but we are able to offer training in these skill sets for the right person. You must have a strong knowledge in Clinical Governance and ideally Clinical Audits as you will be working to QOF targets. The clinical system used is EMIS Web. If you are a proficient user of this clinical system with a smart card in place already, this is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

Requirements:

• NMC Registration & Pin
• 6 months UK Practice Nursing experience
• Cervical Cytology & Baby immunisations update
