Quality Inspector – Precision Manufacturing
Location:
Hythe, Kent
Salary: £24,000 – £26,500 (negotiable dependent on experience)
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays!

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is working with a well-established precision engineering business operating within a quality-critical manufacturing environment. This organisation produces complex components to exacting customer standards and places a strong emphasis on accuracy, consistency and continuous improvement.
This role would suit an experienced Quality Inspector who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with production teams and ensuring that finished parts meet technical drawings and specification requirements before release.
The Role
Inspect finished components and in-process parts against technical drawings and specifications
Carry out dimensional and visual inspections using a range of measuring equipment
Rotate across multiple quality inspection areas to build broad process knowledge
Identify non-conforming products and provide clear feedback to production teams
Raise and complete non-conformance documentation, including 8D reports
Support goods-in inspection and final inspection prior to despatch
Maintain accurate quality records and contribute to ongoing quality improvements
About You
Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment
Ability to confidently read and interpret technical or engineering drawings
Experience using precision measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges
Strong attention to detail with a methodical, quality-focused mindset
Comfortable working across different departments and inspection areas
Clear communicator, able to provide constructive feedback when issues arise
