As a Simulation Engineer, you will work alongside a supportive team of experienced Solutions Consultants, Designers, Data Analysts, Software Architects, and Business Development Managers to create digital twins of complex automation solutions and develop these into simulation and emulation models.
Key Responsibilities:- Build 3D Models (digital twins) of proposed automation solutions using Emulate3D Simulation & Emulation software
- Create renders and fly-through videos to aid the sales process
- Use Virtual Reality headsets to walk customers through their new warehouse before it’s built
- Model solutions as simulations in Emulate3D using C# or Java Script
- Collaborate with Systems team to replicate control decisions in simulation
- Run simulations under various conditions, evaluate performance, throughput, and resilience
- Report simulation results to Solution Lead, wider team, and customers
- Develop emulation models that connect to Logistex Warehouse Execution System (WES)
- Experienced in Simulation & Emulation (Emulate3D or equivalent)
- Skilled in coding languages such as C# and Java Script
- Holding a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Strong in data analysis and problem-solving
- Familiar with CAD and standard IT packages
- Fluent in English and able to travel within the UK/internationally
- Holder of a full clean driving licence
