Electrical Project Manager – Building Services Contractor - (Kettering + Site Travel)
A long-established Building Services Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its team, operating from the Kettering office with regular travel to sites across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong electrical professional who enjoys leading projects within the care home and healthcare sector—a sector where quality, safety, and compliance are paramount.
The Role
The successful candidate will take full ownership of electrical elements across multiple projects, ensuring schemes are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing electrical installations from pre-construction through to handover
* Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors
* Overseeing compliance with electrical regulations and industry standards
* Managing project costs, budgets, and financial reporting
* Producing and maintaining programmes using Asta Power project
* Liaising with design teams, stakeholders, and end-users
* Ensuring work meets sector-specific requirements for healthcare environments
Key Requirements
* Strong technical understanding of electrical systems within building services
* Proven experience managing projects in the care home/healthcare environment
* In-depth knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and compliance processes
* Solid financial and commercial awareness, including budget control
* Proficiency in Asta Power project and project programming
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites
